Which is kind of funny because that's exactly what will happen! IN NARUTO'S HEAD. I would have a lot less of an instant *twitch* at this review if she actually explained why, like a plot-related reason, some trope she saw done wrong or that tends to imply unfortunate things and is therefore a pitfall she wants to make sure I avoid. Because looking at her profile she's a yaoi only girl. Huh... Who doesn't like romance in stories... like there's zero in teamwork as it is? Granted it's kind of more action and character oriented than "oh my love the fruit of our union is growing in your ripening belly i can see our forever in your eyes~" but STILL. (actually it's probably not romantic ENOUGH for a get-together story. sometimes it really does read as more of a friends and partners who fuck than a real falling in love thing. Blargh. T__T) But anyway. oh my, what a sincere request, and from such a dedicated fan! I must be heartless. :/ edit: pffffffffft. same person, another review: Why does Naruto say "Gaara" when he sees Kisame? I must have been too subtle. >.> Also, I think this is one of the only stories that I actually like Sakura in. She is very useless in the beginning of Naruto the show and annoying in the rest of it. But the way you have described, makes me like... o i c. I don't want to like eggs @ 04:50 pmvejiicakes: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I feel like there's actually been a lot going on over my Winter Break that I want to blog about, but hanging out with friends nearly every day (well, afternoon-to-asscrack of dawn) is actually sort of tiring. I haven't even been checking my email, so there's a ton of flist/comment stuff I need to get caught up on -_- Just yesterday, raane, rodolphe, stuv, and I got back from skiing/sledding around Bear Valley--my parents let us stay at their (super nice) place in Angel's Camp--likely the last outing we'll have before everyone splits for school again :( Also we've been marathon watching Dexter, which like Smallville is a lot more fun to group watch (though unlike SV I think Dex is pretty good) and just finished up season 3 over the ski trip. I love Deb, and I love(d) Miguel's manly mancrush on Dexter XD Hoping to start in on S4 before people start getting busy with school again.Though in the meantime, apparently I have to teach myself enough about animating in Maya to put together a film reel in order to take the Maya class I want this coming semester. Which is to say, I did take the prerequisite course--I just didn't take it with a professor who actually taught me the animation stuff I now need -_- The last week before school starts up is going to be busy. EVERYONE who sent cards and holiday packages, thank you SO MUCH!! I loved them all--I really really really wanted to do some sort of exchange/card art thing this year (especially since I still owe some really lovely people their artsy requests) but if you didn't hear, the fall semester this year kind of ate me -_- I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season, whatever you celebrate (or don't) and are having a new year much better than the last! :D

Sometime in December, I was fixing a table of folded pajama sets when this woman walked past me and nonchalantly said, "If you see a 3 year-old blond boy in a blue jacket wandering around, could you let me know?" and then she kept going... I, uhm, huh? I went after her and asked what was going on. Seems the kid she was with, I'm guessing her grandson, tends to wander off whenever he's outside of the house. I page the manager and call a Code Yellow, which is our version of an Amber Alert. I give a description to the manager, Loss Prevention comes out of their office to find out what was going on, and we post an employee at the front door to make sure the kid or anyone with the kid doesn't head out the door. I talked to another employee and we decide to split up, she's heading for one end of the store, I'm going to the other where the toys are. Grandma comes and starts wandering with me, talking incessantly about how he does this all the time, he constantly wanders off no matter who he's with. A few minutes later, the manager pages "Cancel Code Yellow." Which means they found him. So I tell Grandma that someone found him and he's with the manager so we need to go find her. She said he was over by customer service playing with the rolls of wrapping paper. Grandma thanks us for finding him and asks if we sell leashes as she's walking away. Here's the thing... just before he was found, she says to me, "I really wish someone would snatch him... just once.. so he'd learn his lesson."
